This hike is extremely beautiful, and the drive up teases you with glimpses of what you will get at the end. (Follow signs for Blue Lake from Baker Lake Road; you won't see a single sign for Dock Butte until you are on the trail, but don't worry, you are on the right track).
There is snow up at the top, I would definitely wear hiking boots.This trail is classified as easy but I wouldn't really agree with that and I'm in good shape.
Blue Lake is also very pretty! It's a much easier trail and very short. This spot is a great destination!
