Umtanum Creek Canyon — Sunday, Jun. 12, 2016

Just an FYI - this trail shares a trailhead with Umtanum Ridge Crest, and neither are marked. For those who get confused like we were - from the parking lot, go under the bridge near the stream and to the left you'll come across a trail sign. This trail is kind of hidden, to the right/behind the sign. Umtanum Ridge Crest goes off to the left and is more visible at first glance. The first part of this trail was really lovely through the canyon and we enjoyed the views. As it goes on, however, it becomes really overgrown and while not difficult to navigate, it becomes tedious. We ended up turning around with scratched up legs. If you can handle the elevation, I recommend checking out Umtanum Ridge Crest instead.
