Just starting to hike. I had a co-worker take me on this hike for the first time on the fourth of July. I loved it. It is a short hike with a couple good hills that have you panting at the top but is still easy to do with asthma. My dogs loved the undergrowth off trail, I loved the mushrooms and took plenty of pictures for future identification, my boyfriend brought his mountain bike and enjoyed the multi-use trails and my little brother (14 yrs) liked the rocky terrain with plenty of good climbing trees. This is the perfect place for a little day trip that gets a variety of activities done in a couple of hours. We did not swim this time or on the fourth but I plan to bring my niece here for future swimming dates.
