Denny Creek — Saturday, Jul. 23, 2016

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
One of the views along the trail
We got to a late start, hitting the trail head around 3pm. It was crowded, but we were lucky enough to get a decent parking spot as someone was just leaving. Once past the river crossing where most people with children stop and turn around, the trail becomes very rocky. I would strongly suggest not wearing sneakers if your are going all the way up to the lake. Overall the hike was wonderful. Very little in the way of biting bugs... mostly bees traveling from flower to flower along side the trail. I would caution those who are getting a late start. We spent a little time taking a side trip to the falls on the way up, and a few stops for pictures, and the sun was setting just as we were getting to our car.
just a busy bee along the trail
