Deception Pass State Park - Headlands / Rosario Head / Lighthouse Point — Friday, Jul. 29, 2016

We parked by the dock near the CCC interpretive center. We walked the trail to the right to Rosario Head. The Pacific Madrones were red in the sunlight. With the blue water, it was a beautiful hike. Once there, the beach, tide pools and the loop trail around Rosario Head await you. We made our way back to the dock and continued on to Lighthouse Point. Once on that loop trail, you can take wonderful photos of the Deception Pass bridge at different viewpoints. All said, it was a nice hike, with a few steep areas, but the majority was a beautiful and easy hike.
