Cutthroat Pass via the Pacific Crest Trail — Monday, Oct. 10, 2016

North Cascades > North Cascades Highway - Hwy 20
There's a larch party going on up there right now, don't miss it. The trail's in fantastic shape, road's great, the colors are stunning, the berry's are still there! The larches won't last too long, go soon. That apart, nothing more to add from the previous reports. There was a little bit of fresh snow on the last third of the trail, but shouldn't be a problem. Took me almost 4 hrs to reach the top. That is because I took hundreds of pictures, and now cannot make up my mind about which ones to upload here. But anyway, don't miss the party. Its absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful! Would do have taken me a long time too with all the photo taking. Love the contrast with the white snow on the ground.
