A glorious fall day for a mid-week trip to Mt. Pilchuck. We left the trailhead at about 11:15am. At the mid-point of the trail, as it wraps around to the northside, there was some ice on both the ascent and descent in the places were water drains down the trail. Higher up the trail was ice free as it gets southern exposure. Icy sections were navigable with caution by stepping around the ice.
