North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway

Hiked this trail this morning, it was absolutely beautiful! The road to get to the hike was pretty bad, there were so many huge potholes, and at one point we basically crossed a stream. we made it in my Honda Accord but had to go pretty slow. We made it to both of the lakes in good timing, they were both beautiful! One of the boards on the walkway that went over a small body of water was down, one of the boards had completely floated away. we had to basically jump onto part of the board to get across. the trail had a few trees down and was pretty muddy but we expected that being its fall. there was no one at the trailhead and we didn't see anyone on the trail. Perfect day to hike :)
