First time hiking this trail. We got an early start and parking lot was empty. Only saw 4 other people and that was on our way down. I didn't think the switchbacks would ever end though. Parts of the trail is a stream so good boots are a must. It started snowing pretty good around 4000 feet or so. It made the non-existent views a little better. Overall it was a great hike. We will have to go back on a sunny day sometime.
