Dalles Ridge Snowshoe — Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017

Mount Rainier Area > Chinook Pass - Hwy 410

Enjoyed the hike except for all the shooting. Lots of shotgun shells and trash around parking lot. About 1/4 mile from parking lot on return heard bullets buzzing by and ricocheting off trees. Took cover and yelled. IDIOTS had placed targets on trail and were shooting, with a rifle, straight up the trail. Told them they needed to leave before they killed someone. Saw one elk early on the hike. Lots of Elk poop on trail. Per GPS built the snowman around 4 mile mark.
