Umtanum Creek Canyon by YolyNatalie
Headed over to this hike for the first time. Crossed the bridge and over the rail road tracks and searched for trail entrance. A little hard to find at first, main trail is slightly left after you cross the train tracks. Trailhead is currently flooded about 4-5 inches high of snowmelt for about 100 ft. We went ahead and waddled through it water cleared up but very muddy through the entire hike. No wildlife spotted except for a couple of eagles flying high overhead. Waterfalls are beautiful at this time with all the snow melting. Searched for petrified wood as there is an abundance in this area. Hiked to the end of the trail with very little difficulty. Will be returning when wildflowers start to bloom.

All nice pictures, but the first is breath taking-one of the most striking I've ever seen of this area in early spring. Nice job.
