Water Flume Line Trail — Wednesday, Apr. 5, 2017

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
The sign at the southern terminus
We have found ourselves looking everywhere to stay active in these days of constant rain and inaccessible mountains. Today, we enjoyed a walk along Tacoma's Water Flume Line Trail, which roughly parallels South Tacoma Way for three and half miles. It goes through a couple of parks, but mostly traverses quiet residential areas and was not at all unpleasant. We started at South Park and walked to the southern terminus and back, needing our umbrellas the entire time, but nevertheless enjoying the signs of spring all around us.
