Deception Pass State Park - Pass Lake, Deception Pass State Park - Lottie Point Loop — Sunday, Apr. 9, 2017
Puget Sound and Islands > Bellingham Area
Reached the parking lot at Bowman Bay just after 11am. Busy, but there was still plenty of parking available.
Walked back up the road to the Pass Lake trailhead. Not much space here, lots of people going fishing. Hiked the Pass Lake trail loop counter-clockwise. Didn't encounter anyone, other than a porcupine.
Used the connector trail off Hwy 20 to get to the Lottie Point trail, and found a nice spot at Lottie Point for lunch before heading back to the parking lot.
The trails were all in good condition, apart from a few slightly muddy spots, and one blowdown on the Pass Lake trail.
