Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - East

steep, not too long. Pulled a tick out of the dogs ear, and one off of my own body . the group we saw on the trail left word at the trailhead that they found several as well. so i guess ticks are bad right now. our day had all kinds of weather, typical April. snow on upper half of this trail is currently the wet cement variety... so snowshoes dont help, just had to suck it up and slip slide deep steps. Route finding skills and a gps help (always bring a map). All and all a fun day. ☺
