North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway

Reached the parking lot shortly before 9am, and was pleasantly surprised to have the trail to myself for the duration of my hike. Bleeding hearts are blooming, the trail was only a little muddy in places, and the roaring river made for a lovely backdrop to this easy hike. There are a few spots on the trail which would require a little scramble or assist for kiddos or those with shorter legs. Otherwise, the trail is in great condition and a good hike for all ages.
