Kim joined me for a trip up the Suiattle River Trail to Canyon Creek. The trail is in excellent shape. Unlike most springs this year there are only two trees down across the trail. Both are easy to step over. The creeks are running high enough to need careful rock hopping to keep dry but not deep enough to cause any problems.
Lots of wildflowers out including yellow violets, trillium, spring beauty, calypso orchids. bleeding hearts, and Hooker's fairybells among others.
We had almost total solitude. We saw three hikers and three dogs all day. I have a much more detailed report at:
