Hot day to climb up to Icicle Ridge but well worth the effort. Wildflowers were blooming and the creek was running full. Bugs were non-existent. The trail was in great condition with only a few blowdowns near the ghost forest. Our trip was snow-free until we were less than a half mile from the ridge. Some of the way was boot-tracked and easy to follow, but when we got off the track we post-holed through in places. Beautiful views in every direction at the top. Hot, hot trail on the way down, bring lots of water & sunscreen.
