Arrived at 7:10 am. A few cars in parking lot. Started hiking at 7:15, finished at 12:15. Trail is straightforward and easy to follow. There are parts on the trail that I imagine would be difficult for folks with fear of heights or vertigo (cliffs, narrow trail with drop offs, high bridges). Metlako Falls spur trail is inaccessible. I never did see the falls. Punch bowl falls are very picturesque. Make sure you take the spur trail and descend down to the falls. They are hidden around the bend up stream. Loowit falls are visible right off the trail. Skoonichuk falls will be on your left. I walked through a campground to catch a better glimpse. You can get right up to the waterfall- be careful, it's slippery! A little under a mile after the Eagle creek bridge, at the wilderness boundary, the trail is closed due to recent wildfire. I turned around here, for a total of 9.8 miles. I noticed a lot of camping areas- consider staying overnight. I took a ton of pictures! This hike is incredibly beautiful. Enjoy!
