Ira Spring Trail - Mason Lake, Island Lake - Rainbow Lake, Pratt Lake Basin, Melakwa - Pratt Lake Traverse & Lower Tuscohatchie Lake — Sunday, Jul. 23, 2017

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

Lost my GoPro near the trailhead, I think.  If you chanced upon it (I just went and looked for it), know that commenting and returning to me will be more lucrative than keeping it! :)

Anyway, hi WTA! I'm not posting as much lately due to time constraints but I'm out there all the time and today was a great day to be out there.  Trails are in great condition and the lakes are warm enough to swim in.  Zoey came running with me today and got her 1k personal record! Beyond Mason lake there were far fewer travelers, even at Pratt Lake.  I saw only one party there but they reported the campsites were full the night before. It was a great afternoon and regret not packing for a slightly later traverse to finish off this ALW section with Melakwa and Ollalie. All in all though 4 new lakes and some great exercise in superb weather.

All in all it was about 16.5 mi, ~5100 ft gain in 3:40 moving time.  I'm smoke free since May 3, joined a run team and have been occupying most of my time with that, so time for trip reports of the run routes is cut short :(.

See you out there, and seriously, if you have the GoPro Hero 4 I will pay you its value and then some for its return, so you should totally do it! I rarely bring it but it has a cool trail run from today on it and I'd really like it back :

Cheers!
