North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway

Beware that this trail is straight up the whole time!! It starts out as dirt and turns to rocks with some scrambling. Took us a little more than 2 hours to get up, then we headed up to Foggy Lake, another 15 minutes or so. Go on a clear day, the views of the North Cascades were so amazing! Don't underestimate this trail, it's super popular but really really steep! A lot of people had overnight packs, but I couldn't see myself being stable on some of the rocks with more than a day pack.
