Cot's Peak

The trail, a boot track/game trail, to Cot's Peak is located at the sheep feeding station just east of Naches. Look for the road at the intersection of Hiway 12 and 410. Cot's Peak is a small point south of the actual summit of Cleman Mountain. The "trail" is steep-you will gain over 2700' in just less than two miles. Footing can be muddy and there is much loose rock. The hike can be round trip, or you can do a loop-continue to the summit of Cleman and return via Waterworks Canyon(there is a trip report on this route)and a short road walk. In the spring, expect to see lots of flowers!

Hi - Could you be more specific about location of trailhead? I know the intersection of 12 and 410 as well as Waterworks Canyon, but what road does one take and where does the trail start you're referencing?

The trail starts at the winter wildlife feeding station on Old Naches Rd. Here is a report I wrote on an extended version of this hike.
