Glacier Vista Snowshoe — Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018

Mount Rainier Area > SW - Longmire/Paradise

Went for a walk with friends (beginner snowshoers) & what a spectacular day! Fresh snow blanketing everything, sunny skies and warm (trees tinkling with snowmelt) all day. Headed out to nisqually vista first, well marked trail. Then came followed trails across to the glacier vista trail. started peeling the layers off (glad to have a hat, sunnies & sunblock). Passed campers, igloos & all forms of snow shelters. Don’t go seeking solitude, hundreds of friendly human on these trails. Easy to follow well packed trails! Glorious day on the mountain!
