The cowichee canyon conservancy has done a fabulous job creating this trail system. It is perfect for a day outing. I am able to go almost every day after school. There are still lots of wildflowers, especially balsamroot at the top of cowichee mountain. Phlox and lupine are scattered throrought the trails. Right now, there are 3 grey-horned owlets in the trees on the ditch bank trail east. Very cool!!! The rattlesnakes have woken up and are out... I've seen 2 on these trails thus far. Nothing too bad. They mind their own business.
