FS Road 9737 open all the way to Esmeralda Trailhead
Lots & lots of snow covering the majority of the trail. And, it's still several feet in depth
Lake Ingalls is in early stage of meltout
If you are not comfortable with snow travel, wait several more weeks.
It was a cooler day. About 60 degrees. Snow conditions and travel were fantastic. Snowshoes stayed strapped to the pack the entire time. Not necessary, but very helpful, I strapped on my crampons. Poles with snow baskets.

Those blue pools in the snow are really beautiful.
