Silver Falls Loop — Sunday, Jun. 10, 2018

Mount Rainier Area > SE - Cayuse Pass/Stevens Canyon
Silver Falls Loop by KArreola85
Took my cousins, whom are more newbie hikers. It was raining intermittently but it did not stop us from following through. Took the trail from Eastside trail, across from the Grove of the Patriarchs Trail; since we had finished that one. Heading to Silver Falls is shorter from here than starting from Ohanapecosh entrance. The trail was a little muddy here and there, slippery if you go off trail a little. Bring a light rain jacket just in case, as I’ve noticed it still rains in June in the mountains in the times I’ve hiked out here. Snacks and water are a must, the uphill is gradual but can be a workout for some of those less in shape. Still able to take if you go nice and easy.
