Trip Report

Talapus and Olallie Lakes — Sunday, Jul. 15, 2018

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
  1. The road leading to the trailhead for around 3 miles has a lot of potholes, driving slow can help driving a low clearance vehicle
  2. Trail is in a very good condition
  3. Sunday afternoon very few people
  4. Bugs at the lake or near to the lake are terrible, take your bug spray and we had an infant and couldnt stay long near the lake due to bugs
  5. Not a lot of place near the lake to sit down (I hope I did not miss a spot to sit down comfortably)
  6. Was a very comfortable hike with my infant in the carrier, trekking poles will be helpful
  7. One thing that we did not expect was in the evening some people starting shooting their guns near trail head, I wasn't sure if it was even allowed to.
