Larches are heading towards their last days! Still have color but not as bright yellow/orange as their peak. Saw many goats in the basin with their new winter fluffy coats on.
The trail from the basin to the lake is not as easy to follow. Cairns help lead the way. The last little bit is a small, easy scramble over the ridge line to the lake.
