Dishman Hills Conservation Area - Glenrose — Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018

Finally the new trail head parking on Thierman rd is open! Nice parking lot with an outhouse and at least six cars there. Passed several family groups and it was so nice to see this gem of a trail being used. The new lot shaved off a few hundred feet of hiking up which is certainly a bonus! Fall colors are popping and we had a great hike to the cliffs view point. Just as we started our picture taking and snack eating the skies opened up and rained on us, which hustled us packing back to car. Immediately stopped (of course!) and we had a great evening hike with all the city lights of Spokane twinkling back to the trail head.
