Trip Report

Tunnel Creek — Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018

Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal

We had a fun and photo filled ramble up to 5050 Pass with off trail jaunts to some hidden view points. We also followed the well worn path west along the ridge for the superb views from Valhalla Peak (aka Don's Knob).  The trail is in good shape. Between the bridge and Harrison Lake there were four logs we needed to clamber over and one that was easily ducked under.

Hi I can see that you are the leader of the upcoming work party on this trail and I wanted to talk to you about the half mile stretch up to the peak. It's starting to be a primitive trail and a little overgrown can you guys do work not only the last stretch to the peak but when you go on the little side trail off the main trail to the shore of the lake there will be a trail going around Harrison Lake to all the camping spots is also very primitive and desperately needs work thank all of you volunteers for helping out and taking care of our washington trails.
