Rock Mountain via Rock Lake — Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018

First snowshoe trip of the year! This makes a great shoulder season hike for snow levels higher than 5000', as the switchbacks were bare of  snow and I would not want to do this lower steep slope when snowy due to the difficulty and avalanche danger. Had a spectacular day. Surprisingly windy and chilly up on the ridge going up the final 500', below that was calm and warm.
