This was a great sunny Christmas Eve hike. We used micro spikes and I think it made the hike much easier, but many people did not. there are big cracks in the snow forming the cave but it didn't deter people from going inside. Watch for ice on the bridges when driving in.

I cannot believe, despite the deaths, people continue to go inside and up on the ice caves. People never cease to amaze me.
