Trip Report

Kanaskat-Palmer State Park — Sunday, Mar. 31, 2019

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Beautiful day for a hike! We had hoped to hike here a while back, but it was closed due to snow.  We could definitely see why today as there were lots of trees and debris still on the trail.  Nothing too hard to get over or through, but  some maintenance is definitely needed.  In all we hiked 2.65 miles around the park with a little offshoot down to the river.  There were a lot of other folks out enjoying the sunshine.  Bathrooms in the day use area are open and clean.  Don't forget your discover pass as they are out checking.
