Dosewallips State Park - Maple Valley Loop — Wednesday, Apr. 3, 2019

Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal
One of the Footbridges

Quick little hike from the campground during a rain break.  Along the river we kept getting a peek-a-boos of the elk herd across the river.  Made a quick loop, crossed a couple foot bridges. Wish we had more time to see more of the history along the bigger loop.  We did encounter a couple relics and an interpretive sign.

*For a little fun, I posted a LNT picture.  We always practice LNT.  On this short hike, nature called and I didn't have a baggie. I was pretty proud of myself after coming up with this little handmade envelope ;-)
