I knew headed in that i was probably too early in the season to try and summit this mountain. still sent it anyway.
Trail conditions. Some snow here and there until roughly 3k feet then say goodbye to the trail. I made it to around 4500 before I had had enough. Too risky. I saw tree wells with 8’ of snow around the outside. Wait it out.
Obviously bring snowshoes, I had poles, ice axe, crampons and the works just Incase. I was shooting to make it at least above treelike but conditions were just to overwhelming for me to do solo.
