Cedar Flats Nature Trail — Sunday, Jun. 2, 2019

Southwest Washington

We did this hike the second day you could even access the trail, as FR25 was closed until June 1st, per the park ranger. The trail is well established considering it is difficult to see from the road and only a half dozen parking spots even exist. You really need to watch the mileage on the instructions as the sign is off to the side of the road.  There are no facilities at this hike, but there is an informative sign and a few benches along the route. One tree is down but easy to get around. The trail is a lollipop loop and it narrows once in the loop. Our kids liked marching in front carrying a stick to brush aside the spider webs.

Not a bad hike for exercising some legs and being in a really quiet forest.
