Oyster Dome — Wednesday, Jun. 12, 2019

A hot and somewhat humid day (for PNW) in the forest. The primary trailhead was quiet for a Wednesday around noon, perhaps 7 cars. The trail had a lot of switch backs. Trail splits were signed. The view from the dome is about as good as the ones from the trailhead. I went over to Lily Lake and was going to continue on the loop back to the trailhead but the signs contradicted the loop. I'm sure it would have been fine to keep following the loop but I was too hot to go explore the two unidentifed trails from the junction from Lily Lake to Oyster dome. Be sure to look at the maps ahead of time if you want to do the loop.
