Skyscraper Mountain — Friday, Aug. 9, 2019

In spite of the prediction of thunderstorms, Sunrise was sunny most of the day. We took our first hike to Skyscraper Mountain and I wonder why it took us so long to discover it. The hike featured brilliant and abundant wildflowers, close up vistas of Mt. Rainier and Winthrop Glacier, and a 360 view from the top of Skyscraper. Wow. The wildflowers were at their peak.
