Dirty Harry's Peak — Sunday, Sep. 1, 2019

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Dirty Harry's Peak by BPWA

Arrived 0800 on a early cloudy Sunday (Labor Day holiday). There were only six cars in the parking lot. By 1330 return there were 40 cars.

It was a very quiet hike to the Peak. I counted five total hikers above the Balcony. As advertised it's a steep grind to the top mostly in the shade, which was welcome. Long pants appreciated given the encroaching brush towards the top. Boots and poles a must in my opinion. It's a beautiful sheer cliff vista at the Peak with clouds ebbing above and below.

On the way down, starting at the Balcony I joined up with the rest of the day hikers, but arguably the least amount of any I-90 hike. Only one dog and zero trail runners - rare day!

I spied a man made bird house about one mile from TH.
