It was very cloudy this morning. It was foggy this morning. And it was a good outing this morning.
I turned right on the trail at the burned out tree and made my way to the upper reaches of the lollipop loop trail. There are many excellent view points to be found there. Views of Rosario Head are very good, even on a foggy morning.
I returned to the main trail, turned right, and looped around to the views of the bridge. I enjoyed the clear water in the coves. Explore every side trail there is on this hike for maximum enjoyment.
There was a heron fishing from a rock. With considerable patience, I caught him plunging his head into the water. Herons move fast!
There were only a few people on the trail this morning, and I did not meet any of them until I was near the TH on my return.
