Took a multi-day trek from Hannegan Pass to Boundary Camp, Whatcom Pass, Beaver Pass, and out at the Ross Lake Dam TH.
The trails were all in great shape. All the higher pass areas with sun had ripe berries: blueberries, huckleberries, and thimble.
There's a ground bee/hornet nest a couple miles in on the trail starting from Hannegan but we didn't see any bees or hornet in passing. There was a similar warning of a ground nest [blue tape] in the Big Beaver area near Luna Camp, but no noticeable activity.
The water situation at Beaver Pass is nearing stagnant pools and may soon be untenable without precipitation. I would fill up before arrival if possible. There are places within a few miles in both directions to fill. It was a little buggy there.
Graybeal is currently a dry camp.
Anyone at Whatcom Pass should at least make the short trip up to a lookout on the southern shoulder for the views of Challenger.
The cable car to cross the Chilliwack is out of commission for a while (month?) yet and requires a ford, but the ford is easy with water well below the knee.
Highly recommend. A fun trip!
