Silver Lake - Monte Cristo — Sunday, Sep. 29, 2019

My original plan was to go larch hiking today, but I decided to stay clear of the passes due to the September winter weather. Instead, I thought it might be fun to begin at a lower elevation and hike up to fresh snow dusting. The conditions were perfect. I biked four miles into Monte Cristo and hiked into the white snowy wonderland of Monte Cristo with no problems. This trip took me 5.5 hours.
