Dusk walk to the end of the dike trail, starting at 4pm from the large parking lot on the west end. Most of the trail was wide and clear, with a short, narrower section before the trail ended in a muddy area on the bank of the South Fork Skagit River.
Wildlife: Herons, bald eagles, plenty of ducks, and large flocks of snow geese flying overhead.
Didn't see any hunters, but there was quite a bit of shooting going on.
