As others have stated, the road is slow going. The trail was fine with the exception of Lower Ashland Lake which, at one end, had a few boardwalks under water. Fun hike!
When we arrived there were no cars in the lot, and only 3 others when we returned. We began walking at 9:20 and got back to the trailhead at about 1:30.
