Drove up to the Cyrus Gates Overlook at 11am. There were a dozen cars in the parking lot at the top, with space for plenty more. The road surface was a little bit rough, which might help enforce the speed limit (15mph; watch out for mountain bikers).
Using this map, we followed an almost-loop via the Upper Ridge Trail, Middle Ridge Trail, Lower Ridge Trail, Cleator Rd, and back to the Upper Ridge Trail.
The trails were all clear, and we only encountered a couple of parties (incl two on bikes).
