Camano Ridge Trail — Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019

Puget Sound and Islands > Bellingham Area
Forest

Started from the large parking lot off N Camano Ridge Rd around noon. There was a trailhead kiosk, but no obvious signage on the road.

Followed a counterclockwise loop around the park. While the main east-west connector was a wide, alder-lined trail, the side trails meandered through nice Douglas Fir (and Redcedar) forest.

No obstacles on the trail, other than some slightly muddy spots. Trail junctions were all unsigned (but mostly correct in OpenStreetMap).

Encountered maybe half a dozen people on the trail, all on foot, including one bow hunter.
