Took niece and nephew for their first backpack to Anderson Pt Campground. This is a great first trip for young people. The trail was in great condition, the toilet was clean and not smelling or buggy, and the views were amazing. Bear bins are present, and most sites have a picnic table and fire pit. There was a strong afternoon wind which made having a fire hard, but with a view like this, who needs a fire!
Be aware of the road in past the paved sections. The potholes are serious!!
