Drove from Seattle to Olympic National Park on Saturday to visit the Hall of Mosses and Spruce trails. Both trails are beautiful, well-maintained and family friendly! (Easy walks.)
There was a notice posted about ‘cougar frequenting area’.
We left Seattle later than planned, and by the time we got closer to the entry *payment’ building around 10:45 a.m., there was a long line of cars. Park posted notices about estimated wait time which was approx. 2 hours - due to parking availability. (There is a restroom close to the entry.)
When we left the park at 3:30 pm, there was the same amount of cars waiting to get in; the ranger let us know if you arrive after approx. 9:00 am - at least on a summer weekend day - you can expect to wait for access.
Gorgeous area, and we enjoyed the trails!
