We hiked Marmot pass with a dog on Sunday morning, July 10th. The trail was in excellent condition! We started at 8:30 and arrived at the pass by 11:15 (no packs on). There was plenty of water for our dog along the way, and a few stream crossings that were not a problem with boots on.
There are only a couple of remaining snow patches, which were not a problem to pass at all. Muddy in some sections by the campsites.
Ate lunch at the pass and watched some marmots peek out! We will be back to camp on our next adventure, there were several good spots along the way and at the campsite. A few good spots at the top of the pass as well.
Bugs weren't bad - lots of wildflowers - lots of water access - good overnight campsites!
