Trip Report

Spider Meadow and Phelps Basin — Saturday, Jul. 16, 2022

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - East

Trail is in good condition and snow is all but gone. There were still a few patches, particularly close to the meadow, but the meadow itself is clear now. There is a little more snow at the far end of the meadow as you head up toward the turn-off to Phelp's Basin.

Creeks are running high, as you'd expect this early. No rock-hopping, you're feet will get submerged.

Still early for most of the flowers.

The road to the trailhead is about typical. There are large ruts, rocky in spots, and not too many potholes. Higher clearance vehicles are recommended.
