There have been no trip reports on this hike for a few days. Has anyone experienced smashed windows lately? I'm reluctant to continue hiking this trail for this reason. Thank you!

I hiked on Sunday, July 24th (see my brief trip report), I didn't experience or notice any car break-ins that day.

Hiked here Monday the 25th around midday. Did not see any break ins or signs thereof. Leave your car visibly empty

I heard on the news that they finally caught the people responsible for the majority of the break ins that were happening at the Margaret’s Way trailhead. The two guys were regularly working the trailheads up and down the I-90 corridor and adjacent areas. Glad they’ve been caught. Perhaps the break ins won’t be as bad for awhile. I’m at the Margaret’s Way trailhead several days a week and I haven’t seen any signs of any break ins since they caught the guys.
